In this booklet you will find some basic information on the structure of the German education system and on how it works. We will outline the possibilities you as a EU-citizens have to participate in German education and training schemes and which requirement have to be met in order to do so. Furthermore this publication will help you to plan your educational stay in Germany. It lists contact points and other information sources and provides useful tips facilitating your acclimatization. Even if you only plan on completing parts of your education in the Federal Republic, you will find information on programs and recognition procedures.
